The 125 years of Triumph and My Impressions of The Celebration
Meet 125 years in the fashion world is an achievement to be applauded standing. If this is achieved, moreover, without losing the quality and style, then should be celebrated with great fanfare. Under that premise, Triumph invited us to celebrate 125 years with them in the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC) with a parade of their new collections and a delicious cocktail. While the evening may be perfect, there were details that left me with little taste. Want to know which ones?
The good and the beautiful 125 years of Triumph
The MAC Forest Park was turned into a beautiful room, which reminded me of the romance, elegance and sexy spirit of Parisian cabaret in the early twentieth century (a sit-If you arrive early-on beautifully decorated tables). In an intimate low light, roses and champagne. All very consistent with the beautiful invitation I received in which, by a sort of league, urged me to accompany the brand to celebrate its 125 years.
After waiting a long time, I’ll tell you about that, which I shared with my friend Pia Montalva, then added the escapades with her friend Denise Leighton-Mikel, began the parade, which projected historical images of the brand, while the models showed us the latest collections of Triumph: Perfect Shape, and Triumph 125 Valisère Anniversary Vintage Collection, which drew sighs both women and men. Particularly, I loved the touch more vintage and “dressed shapers” of their proposal Perfect Shape. In fact, I tried to imagine using them on several occasions from the most formal to the most festive.
After the parade, I revel in the rich part cocktail prepared my nephew Paul Bagnara, however, I had to boot-how modern Cinderella shoe thrown while obviously, to meet my beloved, because he had to come back to Viña (being a mother + professional fashionista – wage is far more complicated and less glamorous than you think).
Best of the 125 years of Triumph
Ok. We live in Chile, a country within the Latino middle is the most specific, which means that events do not depart on time. For this reason, I have clear that if you cite at 20.30, the event will not start until half an hour … Half an hour, not 1 hour 10 minutes … Especially because there are people like me think goose, but I work with the Asia Pacific where the lateness is frowned on, we try to be punctual and after the long wait began to lose interest. I think brands should start educating their guests, especially if the frame is so formal and well produced. Glamour subtracts the long waits. If one is characterized by relatively on time, forcing the rest to hurry, because you know that if it does, you lose the best.
Now, another detail that I think should be assessed is related to the parade. 125 years are met once in life. Although it sounds a cliché this simple fact that not only requires the general production is impeccable, but the staging of the parade. Triumph I’m not saying that it was not, but had nothing unusual. Given the years of experience of the brand, I waited a gateway that tells a story, that of the mark, accompanied not only images but also ad hoc music and maybe some performance, we moved to the original mystique and current Triumph.
Finally, the evening was pleasant. It is always nice to share with friends Creole fashion scene and enjoy a place where design is breathing. However, because Asians have taught me, “the perfection of detail provided is indicative of the fund.” In large celebrations should never lose sight … In the meantime, let’s stay with the sweet taste of these 125 years, Triumph has made synonymous with quality and trends in lingerie and has earned him millions of followers throughout the world. I join them.
